Neustar Security Services is now operating as Vercara, a new brand with the same laser focus on securing the online experience for many of the world’s largest enterprises. The new identity, part of the company’s evolution to a standalone entity, centers around Vercara’s purpose-built, global cloud security platform that provides layers of protection to safeguard businesses’ online presence from attacks no matter where they originate or where they are aimed.
NAMING
That’s what Vercara delivers. One Truth.
Vercara is a fusion of the Latin “verit” or truth, and “cara,” which is beloved. When combined with the product brand of “Ultra,” which means to go beyond or transcend, the result is an embodiment of the relentless dedication to protecting customers’ most important assets with a highly respected and trusted suite of cloud-delivered security services.

Pairing a minimal logo symbol with a modern wordmark offers a compelling synergy that effectively communicates a brand's essence in a sophisticated and memorable way. The iconic symbol serves as a visual shorthand, making it easier for the audience to associate with the brand at a glance.
Complementing the symbol, the modern wordmark adds a layer of clarity and context. Crafted with clean lines and contemporary typography, the wordmark encapsulates the brand's name in a visually pleasing and legible manner. This combination is a testament to the power of simplicity and thoughtful design, allowing the brand to leave an indelible mark on the minds of its audience.

With Vercara's new brand identity, we set out to emulate their bold personality, unparalleled industry expertise, and passion for innovating security technologies.
A visual vocabulary was established with: color, typography, photography styling and treatments, icons, illustration styles, and graphic elements.

Through in-depth strategic discovery and integrating our findings into the design process, we told the story of who Vercara really is. We conveyed the most authentic brand elements to clearly represent Vercara in each design feature. By creating their logo and establishing a fresh color palette, we brought new energy into their brand. We wove their passionate strategy into every avenue of the elevated brand identity to reestablish Vercara as the true leader in their space.
